→ proboards terms of service should be understood and followed at all times. to review the proboards terms of service, please click here. → graphics must not stretch the page. the height and width should not exceed 450px in signatures. the recommended size for avatars is either icon size (100 x 100) or full profile (125 x 200). → accounts rather than one account per roleplayer, we use one account per character. each roleplayer will be held responsible for each account created. → display names
should be the character's first, middle, and last names in subsequent order (first middle last). do not include nicknames in your display name. however, when referring to your character on the board, feel free to call them by their nicknames. → chat box is a privilege. the right to use our chat box can be taken away when rules are not followed and common sense is not used. if you are banned and would like to know why you were banned, contact the staff. → face claims must be real people. you may not use anime characters as your play-by. we recommend you use celebrities or models as your face claim. if you use a myspace model, be sure that their real first and last name are available and can be traced back to the face via google or google images. → third person only please post only in third person tense; i.e., "so-and-so tied his shoe" instead of "i tied my shoe" or "he ties his shoes". → upon registering you are given three character slots, meaning that you may make a maximum of three characters. you may earn more character slots through our advertising contest, which can be found in the advertisement board. → common knowledge
is defined as information that everyone, mutually, understands. the common knowledge of post tenebras is the knowledge of roleplay. upon registering, you should at least know the basics as well as what you should and shouldn't do as a roleplayer. this involves god-moding and power-playing - if you have any questions regarding what these are, contact an admin or research. → everyone deserves respect. this means that we have a zero tolerance for disrespect of any kind, whether it should be directed towards members, staff, or even our guests. therefore, any and all disagreements should be a taken to some type of private messaging (pm, aim, msn..). → the site is fictional please understand that what happens on the site, is not real. when a character does not like your character, it does not mean that the roleplayer does not like you. try not to take what happens on the site personally. if you feel that you are being spited via character, please reconcile with the other roleplayer via personal messenger. feel free to also contact a staff member for medium intervention if needed.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

→ pregnancies although we recommend that you discuss your character's pregnancy with a staff member before initiating it, we advise that you at least strive to be different. among most human rpgs, your favorite couple having a little girl is a popular choice. if you see that others on the site have had girls, choose to have a boy. if you think your character's child would be more interesting if he/she was born with complications, then consider potential conditions the child could be born with. also, consider the "pregnancy" being a pregnancy scare, the possibility of miscarriage, and the chances of the baby being stillborn as well as other choices such as adoption and abortion (although we would like to avoid controversial subjects, again, keep in mind that the site is fictional but we are also a REAL life human rpg, meaning realistic things can happen.) → characters age by real time (one day on-site = one day in real life). however, if you would like to age your character in a dramatic way (by months or years) please consult an admin.
