Keaton bit her lip as she looked at the clock for what seemed like the umpteenth time in the last five minutes. She had grown far past restless as she had sat on the couch for the last hour or so, eyes fixated on the television screen that continued to play a marathon of some sitcom that she truly didn't care about in the first place. With a soft grunt she jumped up from the couch and walked into the kitchen to grab a drink, biting her lip as she opened up the fridge before smirking softly, her mind wandering for a moment before shutting the door and padding through the living room once again to find her cell phone. The corners of her lips lifted slowly as she typed out a text message to her boyfriend, Meet me at the park after work, I have a surprise. I love you xo Keaton.
Normally, the girl wasn't as bored as she had been today, but with the circumstances she just couldn't help feeling like doing something cute for him that she knew he'd appreciate. There was absolutely nothing she could have done today to benefit the house's cleanliness, Bentley wasn't aggravating her, rather just lying at the end of the couch after an hour of snuggling, it was her day off and she didn't have any plans to go out, she didn't need to go shopping for anything, and she had basically sat in the house after sleeping in until twelve. Quickly, Keaton padded back into the kitchen as she began to put little things together for the two of them, something like a little picnic at the park would be something fun for him to look forward to after a long day at work, certainly enjoyable with food and a relaxing evening just to spend with her. At least, she thought so.
After making a few sandwiches and putting chips in a bag, sneaking a bottle of wine out of the cupboards and making it all presentable in a basket, Keaton shuffled into their room to get ready. She had about thirty minutes to put herself together after a long lazy day before he got off of work and met her there, and she was going to make every minute count. Calculating how long it took for her to walk to the park as she picked her brush up off the dresser and ran it through her long, dark hair. It had been a while since she had gotten it cut and she enjoyed it being long, she was sure Sebastian didn't mind it either with as many times as he tugged at the ends of it randomly. Within about fifteen minutes Keaton was dressed neatly, a form-fitting white v-neck with teal shorts to add a little color to her outfit.
Slipping on her flip-flops and grabbing the basket and her keys she began making her way towards the park, the smile on her face growing ever-wider as she contemplated seeing Sebastian. Nearly three years and the spark still hadn't faded from their love-life. In the beginning, Keaton never wanted love to begin with, but after running for so long, she couldn't really help falling for the one who actually stuck around for her and put effort into caring about her. As many times as she had pushed him away and used him for cuddles and random company when things weren't right, he hadn't strayed one bit, and now they were inseparable. You could hardly see one without the other for more than a few minutes, they spent every moment they could with one another. And to think that they were just as in love as they had been in the beginning, the only thing that had changed was the strength in which they loved.
Keaton smiled softly as she got to the park, putting her things under a tree as she checked the time, six o'clock on the dot. Sebastian would be here any minute.

Things were fairly slow today at the shop. Not entirely a bad thing, but not necessarily good either. Sebastian had expected it due to the day of the week. He had already told Keaton he would be done before six as well. The last tattoo he had scheduled for the day had just been finished. It had been a rather long tattoo session for him. The guy had wanted a half sleeve done and it was his second session with Sebastian. The first had been a few weeks ago, and all he had managed to finish then was the outline. This session he had worked on starting to color things in. After two and a half hours though, they both were at their limits in patience, and for the guy, his pain limit. Sebastian had just sent the guy home, pocketing the 60 dollar tip and putting the rest of the money where it belonged.
Stretching out his arms above his head, he sighed as the bones in his back popped. There was ache all through his back and arms from tattooing for so long, hunching over the guys arm. Smoothing a hand over his face, he closed his eyes for a moment and leaned back into his chair. What he wouldn’t give for his nice, comfortable bed and Keaton giving him a massage. He adored that woman more than words could probably ever express. She spoiled him more than she knew, really. Sebastian wondered how he had landed himself such a wonderful girlfriend. She cleaned their place religiously, baked or even cooked, and she knew just how to make him feel better after a long day of work. Plus, honestly, she had an amazing personality aside from that and a perfect body. She was the best thing that had ever, and could ever happen to him. He looked forward to returning home to her welcoming arms.
After a few minutes of resting, Sebastian began cleaning up the mess that had overtaken his area. He tossed away the gloves and other trash. The bottles of ink were put away in their rightful place. All the pencils and pens were placed back into the little cup they belonged in. All his drawings needed for other tattoos, or just his little doodles, were placed in a neat stack in the corner. Only then once the papers were moved did he find his phone. Picking it up, he unlocked it and found the text from Keaton. It caused a lopsided grin to curl across his pierced lips. He quickly texted back, ’you can’t be naked in the park silly. Xoxoxoxoxoxo’ and then checked the time. There was just enough time to finish cleaning up his area and then make his way over to the park since she apparently had texted him a while ago with that message.
After he was finished cleaning up, he grabbed the rest of his things and said his farewells to the rest of the artists still in the shop. Sebastian then made his way to the park, making it there just a few minutes after six. He parked, shoved the keys into his pocket and then stepped his way onto the grass. Slowly he scanned the large park, searching out his girlfriend. After a few seconds he spotted the familiar mass of black hair beneath a tree. The very sight of her caused the young adult to smile, and it only grew when he spotted the basket next to her. Sebastian made his way towards her, his long lanky legs making it take less time to travel the distance. When he arrived, he reached out and wrapped his arms around her and pulled her up against him, picking her up off the ground. He spun her around twice, and then gently set her back down again. Placing his hands up on her face as he laughed, he tilted her head back and grinned, ”Hello, beautiful love of my life.” The last thing he did was lean down to kiss her lips softly to complete the greeting.

Keaton bit her lip lightly as she spread the blanket out on the grass underneath the tree she had found shade underneath, making everything as close to perfection as she could. As her phone lit up she smiled as she read the his name at the top and read his reply, smirking and shaking her head at it, not bothering to reply. He'd be here any minute anyway, there was no use in sending another. Keaton had never been the type of girl to text back repeatedly and ask her boyfriend where and what they were doing at random hours. Of course, that might have been a product of the way she had acted when she was younger. Needless to say, Sebastian had been the end of a lot of nasty habits, like cheating. She just hadn't cared where they were to be honest, if they went off with another girl, it didn't matter to her because she was only busy doing the same exact thing. Keaton had never worried too much though, if anything, she was the one cheating on them, and not the other way around.
She had been quite the heartbreaker, but with Sebastian around it was a completely different story, and she couldn't be any happier that he had come around when he did. She couldn't explain it, the way he got to her, the way in which he had captured her heart was still a mystery to her. The point was though, that he had it, and he was never letting go. It wasn't like she didn't have a deathgrip on his, either. As far as hearts were concerned, both of them were in lockdown, and the tattoo on her hip proved that much. Quite a few people considered it trashy to have someone's name in permanent ink on your skin, but with Keaton, it meant something completely different. To her, it was like vowing to him that he was the only one for her, and he was, without a doubt. In her mind, it was like having a constant reminder of who's she was, and yes, she thought of it that way. No matter how possessive it seemed, she was his in every shape, way, and form, and the tattoo proved it, especially since he had been the one to tattoo her.
As she continued to set things up under the tree time had obviously gotten away from her, so when she felt big arms wrap around her, she couldn't help but let out a loud gasp before realizing it was Sebastian. As he pulled her completely off the ground and into him she giggled, wrapping her arms around him back as he spun her around. His laugh was contagious and before long the joy in the pit of her stomach bubbled out into joint laughter as she felt his hands on her face, her eyes closed as the corners of her lips pulled into a complete smile. His words only brought butterflies to the surface, something she had never quite gotten used to as time continued to pass.
Her eyes opened to find his brown eyes staring right back at her, kissing him back before she replied. "Well that was some greeting, Sunshine." she murmured softly, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning against him easily, her lips never faltering from the smile she had acquired since his arrival. "Hello to you, too though." she winked, looking down at the blanket and basket she had brought out for the two of them to enjoy. "I brought us a few snacks to just enjoy for a little while, plus it's kind of a really nice day, and I figured it's been a long day at work.. so just relax, baby." she grinned, looking down and pulling him down with her so she could show him what all she had brought for him in the basket.

Sebastian knew walking up that he was bound to catch the woman off guard. She was generally very easy to sneak up on. Especially since she was so easily distracted. Right now appeared to be just the case as she was setting up what appeared to be a picnic beneath the tree. Laughter escaped his pierced lips as she gasped when he wrapped his arms around her. He could already tell that she was in a great mood, even before this. But now he knew that showing up had only been the icing on the cake. That made two of them, really. There was hardly a day that passed when one of them was in a bad mood. And if they were, it never lasted. With time they had grown so close that it took little time to ease each others ruffled feathers and comfort each other into better moods. It also helped that they never really fought either. Petty little things, like who had to give the dog a bath, but never anything serious.
Sebastian grinned at his girlfriend, "Wasn't it? I thought you'd enjoy that..I'm sorry I surprised you though."
He answered. He was lucky she didn't have reflexes to punch or kick people that snuck up on her. Sebastian would of had a black eye, or been doubled over in pain if that were the case. Yes, it was definitely a good thing. "Hello." Sebastian returned the greeting, sticking his tongue out at her playfully back. His dark eyes followed her gaze back to the basket, nodding slightly as she talked about it. She was right, about it being a nice day. Tilting his head back he looked up at the sky, noticing just how blue it was and completely spotless of any clouds. Things like that were usually unnoticed by him since he spent most of the day inside. Looking back over to Keaton, he smiled as she pulled him down onto the blanket. "Relaxing sounds fantastic." He idly commented, letting his grip on her go to sit down properly. Sebastian took the time to lay down completely, kicking off his shoes and rolling onto his stomach. Dropping his head down onto the blanket he watched Keaton pull things out of the basket. Simple things, but sometimes simple was the best and just what was needed. That was definitely the case right now. The bones his his spine realigned, causing an odd but relaxing feeling to ease through his back. A content sigh left his lips as he exhaled deeply. "I just finished a two and a half hour session on a guys piece..." He explained, reaching out and pushing his long bangs out of his face. Stretching out his arm he gently placed it on her knee and tapped his fingers against it a few times. "This all looks fantastic, love. You spoil me so much. What would I ever do without you?" Part of it was rhetorical, they both knew the answers to that. She was spoiling him though. He loved it, and her, so much. "You look really cute today..I like those shorts."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Keaton rolled her eyes softly as he apologized, something he didn't have to do by now. The girl was sincerely used to being scared and surprised by her boyfriend like he did, which probably wasn't a good thing. Who knows what her reaction would be if someone other than Sebastian scared her like that, she'd probably end up embracing a stranger or getting herself into trouble. Thankfully she never spent too much time away from him. Some people would consider it clingy or them being too close, but the type of relationship worked between the two, they liked spending so much time together. "Don't apologize, silly. It's okay. I'm just glad you're here." She smiled.
She grinned and nodded towards him as he approved of her plans, "It does sound relaxing doesn't it." she laughed, watching him kick off his shoes and lay face down on the blanket she had brought for them both, making her want to lay down with him and cuddle, something they did quite often but she refrained. As she brought everything out and her hands were free she reached over, cupping his cheek in her hand softly as he spoke, as if trying to sooth him. She knew he was tired, tattooing for that long was sure to be tiring, and from the stories she had heard, some of them weren't all that easy. She could only imagine the lines running together and her head hurting as her fingers ached from using such a small utensil. She was more glad than ever that she had chosen today to do something nice and sweet for him. "Aw, baby I know you're tired.." she murmured, leaning down to press her lips to his cheek in a soft manner, letting them linger there before moving to his lips, kissing him softly before pulling away, brushing her fingers through his hair as she sat back up, putting half of a sandwich on a napkin before setting in right in front of his nose. "Well, it's there when you want it." she giggled.
Keaton smiled as she felt the gentle touch to her knee, her eyes seeming to sparkle with the adoration she held for him in them. She giggled at his words and gave a simple shrug of her shoulders, "I'm not quite sure, baby. But I sure don't want to find out." she smiled, laughing as he complimented her looks. "You think?" She laughed again, "They're new. I got them the other day, and I have no make-up on, so there's that." she snorted, rolling her eyes playfully at him.

The smile on his lips never faded as she spoke, enjoying the sound of her voice and the words equally. ”I’m glad that I’m here too babe.” He replied softly. ”I like to relax.” Of course she knew that already. The two of them would lay around all day and ‘relax’, or rather just be too lazy to do much of anything. Those were the best kind of days, when they shared a day off and simply did nothing but enjoy each other’s company. Lying in bed with Keaton was one of his favorite things to do, amongst other things to do with her of course. No matter how much time he spent with his girlfriend he never grew tired of it, even after the years of seeing each other every single day. He still got the silly little grin on his face whenever he talked about her or saw her for the first time each day. Sebastian really was helplessly in love with Keaton.
Sebastian closed his eyes, smiling still as she took his cheek in her hand. The feeling of her soft fingers against his skin was just as pleasant as ever. She worked hard, but her skin was still as feminine and soft as ever. A content sigh escaped the man, feeling even more relaxed as he felt the kiss to his cheek. He returned the kiss and smiled, opening his eyes again to look up at her. ”You’re too sweet.” Looking down at the sandwich that was placed next to his nose, he laughed. Of course she had made his favorite sandwich. Moving his body, he shifted his hips and rolled onto his side, propping his head up with one hand and his elbow against the blanket. ”Spoiled..” he muttered, grabbing the sandwich and taking a bite out of it.
The young man shook his head, ”I don’t want to find out either.” He set the sandwich down, brushing the crumbs off on his pants. ”Mm..I didn’t even notice you had no makeup on..imagine that.” Keaton looked beautiful all the time, he thought. Perhaps he was biased but it was true. From the time she woke up with her messy bed hair to the end of the day after she had made herself look ‘pretty’ for the day. She always looked beautiful, when she was happy and when she was sad. ”You know what’s weird? I don’t have any makeup on either.” Sebastian smirked, reaching out to gently poke her in the side. ”You’re beautiful, and I love you.”

Seeing her boyfriend every day never got old for the twenty-one year old. How could he when he was literally her reason to smile. Keaton thought it was the way that couples could get married and stay that way for fifty plus years and be content and happy with everything they did. She smiled lightly at the thought of being that way one day with Sebastian. She knew it would happen, they were bound to be married.. have kids and spend a wonderful life together. It wasn't like she wasn't planning on being with anyone else. He was her soulmate and she truly believed that with all her heart. She could see herself spending everyday waking up to his face happily and making him breakfast before he went off to work. She didn't know how long she'd stay a bartender before she went back to school but she wasn't really sure if she wanted to go that route just yet. Needless to say she still had a few things to sort out in her life, but she was in no rush. She had a good life right now.
Keaton laughed and shrugged her shoulders softly, "Nah, I'm not too sweet. You're just hardworking and deserving." She smiled, never minding to do little things to make him smile during the day. Even if it was sending a little bag of cookies with a hidden note in the bag for him to find midday. She'd always been thoughtful like that, but she blamed it on being completely starstruck with the love of her life. She knew they made others completely sick to their stomach, but she'd never given one fuck. She wouldn't either. They were happy, and as long as they were happy, no one else really mattered. Other than their friends of course, but they adored their relationship just as much as Keaton and Sebastian did. She watched him get comfortable and smiled softly, sighing lightly and sending him a wink, "Maybe a little, but you still deserve it" She grinned, tapping his nose playfully before closing the picnic basket so the flies wouldn't get into their food.
Keaton bit her lip and nodded softly, "I don't want to find that out either." she whispered, tilting her head as she looked down at him. "yeah, you wouldn't." She laughed, nudging him playfully, he was always commenting on how pretty or cute she looked that day, regardless of if she was dressed down in a hoodie and sweatpants with her hair up in a bun or whether she was about to go to work, dressed up and looking nice. She'd grown used to hearing it, but never to the point of where she didn't enjoy it or it lost it's affect. She smiled softly and giggled, "I love you too." She spoke softly, grinning at his playfulness as she leaned down to catch his lips, grunting as she moved to lay on her stomach beside him, content to just be there with him like this.
