Caitlin is a nice girl who have been born into a bad family. She have seen a lot of bad things and that helped shape her. She is usually very happy and won’t let a few bad things knock her out. At least not while in the presence of others. When home alone she often feels down because of the loneliness or things that happened through the day. She has easy to tears and although it hasn’t been happening at work yet she have often felt bad at relatively little. Some might call it a depression, but that’s not really true. It’s more like all the bad things that she should really let out at work or when the bad things happen, she holds in and instead spends her nights thinking about it. She is terribly scared of water as she can’t swim. If she falls into the water she will just panic and freeze. She is also scared of dogs as she was once bit by one and can’t stand them now no matter the size. Their barking can easily cause her to tears.

She is in a very good shape and work out a lot as a way to do something that is not just sitting at home. She is also very goal determined and when she sets a goal she will do almost anything to reach it. At least when that goal is about a job or a trip or something. If it is about a person she is not so determined. She is the type who is willing to give anyone a chance, sometimes more for having someone to talk to even if it’s bad people. She loves to run as a way to stay in shape and she doesn’t care about the weather. In fact she loves to stay out in the rain and just feel the rain drops run through her hair. She loves her job and although she sometimes wonder if she is good enough for it she feels really good when she goes to work every day.

Caitlin was born on a cold winter in New York City. At that time her father was a shop owner and her mother was a housewife. The family was happy and you wouldn’t really think that it would eventually fall. But due to the shifting economy that started to show the first signs of a future crack, Her father couldn’t keep the store running and soon, new places opened with better prizes and he was forced out of business for good. At first he was optimistic that he would find something else to keep him occupied and he spend a lot of time at job interviews but always he returned home without anything, no job and no money. Slowly he started to feel depressed because all he was ever told was ‘no’. He couldn’t really handle the life as unemployed. He needed to do something with his life. He began drinking and it didn’t take long before he drank more than he applied for work. He spend more and more time out of the house and even forgot two of Caitlin’s birthdays where he was sitting on a bar while Caitlin was waiting at home for him. His neglecting behaviour became too much for Caitlin and she then only stayed home because of her mother.
Her mother wasn’t well though. She had recently been diagnosed with cancer and it was too evolved for her mother to have any hope to live many years still. After she was diagnosed she lived exactly 5 months and then she died a somewhat peaceful death in her bed. Naturally when her mother then died of cancer, Caitlin had to get away. She was moved in with a friend of hers and hasn’t seen her father since. She was very unsure what to do later on and decided to take a major in Linguistics. Caitlin has a good ear for languages and was therefore quick to learn. But the study wasn’t really for her. She wasn’t really sure what the problem was. The only thing that really kept her at the university was her boyfriend at the time who had asked her to marry him. She had of cause said yes as she doubted she would ever find another guy like him. But doubt was built up in her. Not about him, but about her. She feared that she was not good enough for him and that he would eventually grow tired of her and leave her. So with much grief she disappeared from her life once more and didn’t tell anyone. She gave it all up. Her study, her boyfriend and her friends and started over.

She didn’t really know what was to become of her. She had just been walking around crying her heart out to herself as she was suddenly struck by a good portion of determination and decided that the last thing she wanted to be was to be like her father. She would not give up and then, almost through an act of fate, she saw a police car rushing through the streets one day as she was considering what to do with herself now. She got interested and signed up for the academy where she passed with good grades and became a cop. She worked for some years in Portland but despite her skills in close quarter combat she wanted something a little quieter. Then through, what some would call, a series of unfortunate events she was offered a job in Los Angeles as they were in desperate need of police officers to deal with daily increasing crime rates. Due to the situation in the police department, Caitlin could pick from almost any kind of police work. So she chose Traffic Control.
